The lamb went down a storm last night and there was loads left. There is now a delicious curry cooking and it will easily serve four or five so we might have it for lunch on Monday. Lamb is my absolute favourite meat but usually so expensive. This joint cost just less than £6 as it was half price in Tesco. That works out at less than £1 a portion for the meat and you really can't grumble at that for a treat. I've bulked out the curry with a small potato chopped into tiny cubes. A huge red pepper cut into nice chunky bits, a medium courgette, a handful of cherry tomatoes and a couple of small onions. I used a jar of Patak's jalfrezi sauce (89p) and it has combined beautifully with the left over gravy from last night's dinner.
Yum! That sounds delicious and flavorful. The colors are beautiful, too.
