How on earth is it New Years Eve already? This year has absolutely flown by and other than my poorly hip it has ben a really good one. Work trickled in and added a few pennies to the pension fund and I saw a few people in a different light.... I finally realised that I don't have to like everyone and was able to let go of some unpleasant toxic people that I knew. No bells or dramas I just let them go and felt the wave of relief wash over me. I think I have finally accepted that the hip needs replacing. I had half convinced myself that I could cure it with gentle exercise and dietary supplements. It hasn't made the slightest difference and the pain is appalling so I guess it has got to go. That won't happen until I see the surgeon again in February so I will just have to put up with it until then.
Tony and I had several little short holidays and we plan to have several this year as soon as my hip allows. We are already looking at different places that we would like to visit. If you happen to live within travelling distance of where we will visit perhaps we could meet up for a cuppa... I could bring some of my craft stash for you. I would love to post it but the cost is ridiculous. I had assumed that a large stamp would cover an envelope so long as it fit through the guide... that was a stupid mistake and one I realise now was pretty dim of me. I am determined to get rid of a load of my stash in 2019. I'm planning to parcel up a load of crafting things to send out to someone and just bite the cost... This time it will be properly weighed so I know exactly how much it will cost to send it. There is a lovely little suitcase that I can pop it all in to send so you never know... It may come your way if you live in the UK.
I think all that there is left to say is thank you for stopping by my little blog. I count each of you as friends. We are unlikely to ever meet but that really doesn't matter. People have had penfriends for years without ever meeting. This is just the modern day version. I hope the year ends well for you. I will wish you a Happy New Year tomorrow as we aren't quite there yet.
Wishing you both good health and much happiness for 2019. xx
ReplyDeleteThank You. I am wishing the same for you and your loved ones. x
