As promised. I think the hooks could have been placed a bit lower...Lesson learned, I will do that for the second bathroom. Not bad though for a first attempt. I love the grain on that wooden broom shank. It cost nothing as it was given to us. The only cost was a bit of 'no more nails' to glue the hearts to the door and a packet of screw in hooks. I think they were about £1.29 for four.
That looks really good Cherie. I love it.

DeleteThat is really lovely. I like the light wood. We have the same kind of doors and if my husband had not finally put up towel racks elsewhere, I'd be borrowing your idea . ..
ReplyDeleteThe grain is beautiful isn't it.
DeleteIt looks wonderful, such a great idea.
ReplyDeleteWell done. I have a small electric saw that my ex gave me. He's a plumber. I love it. I use it all of the time to trim trees. It's nice and light, and very easy to use.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant, the hearts make it, clever you.
ReplyDeleteAs for the wool Bo, go ahead I shall look forward to seeing it, I have a load of fleece and the needles etc but am not much good at it. I seem to have patience for embroidery but not felting.

That looks great and the hearts are a charming touch. Well done. We know of someone who used to "finish" his pine projects by rubbing plain old Vaseline on them, and then removing the excess.
