I have been a right old misery just lately but want to thank each and every one of you that has taken the time to leave me a comment. Your gentle words of encouragement and support have lifted me out of the gloom. I appreciate your kindness, xxx

Speaking of kindness.. My lovely neighbour Joan popped in yesterday bringing me a little gift. She didn't know whether I had seen these before and wondered whether I would enjoy copying them... In fact I have made them many times and had made some for my friend Shabana's wedding several years ago. Joan didn't know that but I was touched that she had thought of me.  I offered to make a bunch for her to put in a vase... she chuckled when she declined the offer... I then offered to make her a plant pot man... she declined that too. Joan has been on the receiving end of many of my crafty makes over the years...  I wonder if she dreads it when I start on a new craft  :-)
