Can't sleep

There is no point me tossing and turning and disturbing Tony's sleep for hours so I might just as well browse tinterweb and see who is around.  I have wandered through a few blogs, listened to some music on you tube and drunk a glass of fruit squash. I have a book to read and will switch off the laptop in a few minutes and settle down and read for a while. Hopefully I will be able to sleep then. I will be so pleased when this darn hip is sorted.  It's driving me crazy just lately.

  1. I remember those nights before I had mine replaced. It was SO difficult to get to sleep, and then if something woke me up, I was furious. It's such a relief to sleep normally again. You will feel so much better once it's done. It really is hard on a person, psychologically, when they can't sleep. It drives you crazy,

  3. Oh there is nothing worse than not being able to sleep. I go off ok but at 3am it is like someone has switched on a light bulb in my brain and that's it I'm wide a wake then I clock watch worrying that I will end up over sleeping. I do hope you get your hip sorted out and can find a better sleep pattern. It's so exhausting when you don't get a good nights rest.

  4. Nothing worse than being awake in the wee small hours and having to occupy yourself until you think you might just get to sleep.
Keep your chin up and hopefully it won't be too long before you get your op.

  5. Any idea of the wait time? Hopefully not long and you will get some relief.

  6. Pain is hard to deal with anyway, but add in lack of sleep (due to pain!) and it just becomes a very hard thing to handle. I hope you're able to have your operation very soon, Cherie. Pain can be all-consuming.
