Whitby

Tomorrow I am taking the train to Whitby with my friend Margaret and her American friend Carolyn.  We are planning to have fish and chips and hope to climb at least some of 'the steps'.  The journey to Whitby takes about an hour and a half  and  travels through some of the most stunning scenery. Carolyn has been to the Britain many times but hasn't been on this particular train route. I hope she will enjoy it as much as Margaret and I do.

    Have a wonderful day. It's a couple of years since I last went to Whitby (it's where Lily had her first ever paddle in the sea) so I need to rectify that soon. X
