It will buy you a lovely quality set of 'dotting tools' from Amazon. I ordered them ages ago and didn't really expect them to be up to much. I was so wrong as they are smashing. Postage was free...…..I couldn't even post them for that price in the UK.
57p? What a bargain.

That is exactly what I thought.
DeleteI guess they make dots, I could be wrong.
ReplyDeleteThey do indeed. Have you seen the 'dot mandala's'. They are beautiful
DeleteYes, I have seen them. Would like to see what you make with them.
DeleteThey look yummy, I'd like some just to look at. lol

That is the way my mind works too. I have some gorgeous glass 'dipping pens' and they are a joy to write with as they are so beautiful
DeleteI've seen the dot mandalas and the stones with dot patterns on them which look gorgeous. What do you use to make the dots though - thick acrylic paint? Maybe they would work with nail polish, too?
ReplyDeleteI do have in my stash a load of acrylic paint but find that the sample pots of emulsion work really well too. A quick spray of varnish when the paint dries really helps the colours to pop.
DeleteThese are lovely-I bought the cheap nail decoration thingies for £1 from the cheap shop and I used them to do exactly what you are planning. I love the serenity and concentration of making mandalas be it on stone or card. Like you, I am a collector of tester pots especially from Wilcos at 10p.
