Or in that case.. English women. My lazy day hasn't happened. I had a brainwave and that is a very dangerous thing for mad English women to do :-)….. I decided to dig all the flowers out of the border that divided two areas of the garden. I think it will look nicer if I lengthen my lawn. I put all the dug out flowers into a different area of the garden and have just seeded the bare area with grass seed and covered it with net. The garden will look a whole lot bigger when the grass starts to sprout though it does mean I need to water it every morning before it gets too hot. It only took three weeks before the last lot of seed started to resemble a lawn so by the middle of July I am hoping to see some sign of greenery. I have moved a large chimney pot to the back of the border and I am treating it like a mini compost bin. I will keep adding bits and bobs to it and will water it occasionally. As it rots down it will feed the border area without me having to worry about it. I did this many years ago below a plum tree that had never fruited. The crop of plums the next year was fabulous.
I wonder how long it will be before Tony notices what I have done...…. Now what shall I do? :-)
If he's anything like D at least 2 if not 3 weeks if at all.
