The buckets

I have no idea what to do with my time today. I have just given the front and back gardens a really good soaking before the sun gets too hot. I can't take the heat the way I used to be able to. Then I put some 'stuff' up in the loft. The laundry is all done and ironed and the dusting and polishing is done. It is too warm to wash the windows so I might just have to have a nice lazy day.
In Le Crafterie I have three buckets full of broken bits of china and scraps of coloured glass... I am in the mood for a little mosaic project.  Only trouble is I have no idea where all the glass cutting pincers and nippers are... We have a fabulous  bit of glass cutting machinery in our stash...  Tony bought it when we were going to stained glass classes and we have had it for years.  It is great fun to use though I like it better than  Tony does...……..

It is blimmin heavy and is down in the cellar so I will have to wait till Tony gets home.

  1. I will be in the sewing room till around 4 when the sun will hit the front windows. The blind will be dropped and I will move to the back of the house. A fan over a bowl of ice will keep me cool.

  2. I can count on one hand when I've had "no idea what to do" with a day! I always have a book to read and generally should be doing housework instead. lol

Looking forward to seeing what you do for this project.
