The cucumber is doing really well and currently has five babies developing. I tied the pot with string and tied that to the track that the blinds run on. I'm training the plant tendrils to cling to the string. The stained glass swan heart is the first piece of stained glass that Tony ever made when we attended classes together. It looks beautiful when the sun shines through it
Along the lanes I'd love to wend, near Artist's Mews, on Writer's Bend. Where fragrant flowers of every hue sparkle in the morning dew. I wish I lived in Carver's Valley, Quilter's Creek or Cross Stitch Alley. Just think of all the things I'd make, if I lived by Crafters Lake.......... Avocado update
Even though I was reluctant about pruning the avocado it would appear that cutting it back quite hard was very clearly the right thing to do. The new shoots are really strong and very healthy. Each morning I put the two plants outdoors. If the forecast is a little cool I bring them back in as the temperature drops. I had hoped to grow a grapefruit from seed and bought a fruit purely for the pips.... blimmin thing doesn't have any.

I've never grown avacado. I did grow cucumbers with my son one year and they did very well. This year we have stuck with tomato's which have a number of fruit appearing.

They're looking great. My Avocado shout is about 3" tall now and it's root is at the bottom of the jam jar :-D
