Tony and I are currently in Torquay for a long weekend. Himself is a member of the German model railway club.. or something along those lines. We came down to Torquay for the open day of the South Devon German railway society and have had a thoroughly lovely time. Torquay council could do with spending some money tidying up the place though. The stench of ripe dustbin isn't my favourite fragrance.
Supporting your partner's unique hobbies makes for the best weekend getaways. Those model train setups are shockingly intricate when you see them up close. It is a massive bummer about the garbage stench ruining the coastal vibe. Hopefully the local council cleans up their act soon because nobody wants to smell ripe dustbins on vacation.

DeleteEnjoy the rest of your time in Torquay. It looks like a great day ( apart from the smelly bins - yuk). The boats and yachts look lovely bobbing up and down on the water.
