Another lovely day

This morning I sowed a whole load of climbing beans and different varieties of courgettes. They'll be ready to plant outside in a few weeks time as they grow really fast.  At this very minute I'm sitting in the conservatory soaking up the last of the day's sunshine.  It's so warm and cosy and I can feel the warmth seeping into my bones. We're off to a ceilidh tonight but it finishes at 10pm so not a really late one. Our old bones really want to be heading off to bed around 10pm. We're such creatures of habit.

  1. Those fresh veggies will be so good for you! Hard for me to get put in the evenings, it's always early to bed but every now and then, I can still manage a night out! Enjoy!

    1. We're usually off to bed quite early too. I struggle to stay awake any later than 10pm... if I last that looks

  2. I've been starting seeds inside too and I so very much want to plant in the garden, but I know there still could be a chance of frost. It won't be long . . . I just can not wait to get my hands in the warm earth. I have planted onion, radishes and lettuce already so I do have those to look forward to and find myself out everyday seeing if they are breaking through the earth. So far my onions are poking their pretty little shoots up.
    Happy gardening dear blogging sister:)

    1. I love this time of year. The anticipation of things to come is lovely. I'm waiting for courgettes to sprout. I have 15 different varieties of tomatoes this year. I'll keep cuttings of the tastiest ones.
