Lovely gardening weather

It's been absolutely gorgeous today. My solar powered pond fountain arrived and after faffing about for ages it now looks gorgeous.  I can't wait till the plants start to fill out a bit. Next month I'll pop a few pond plants in and with a bit of luck it'll quickly become a wildlife haven.  I'm hoping that it's not too late for frogs and newts to find it.

  1. I use barley hay in my pond to keep the water clear.

    1. I do too. I buy supermarket pet bedding. It's much cheaper than from a pond supplier.

    1. I'm chuffed to bits with it. The fountain really finishes it off.

  3. How neat is this! I love that it's powered by the sun. So freakin' cool. We have little light that do that but that's the extent of things here. Still, so neat.
