I've been awake since 6.30 and it's now 8.30. I've wiped around skirting boards and cupboard doors. Scrubbed the freezer and done a wash load. It's just finished tye cycle so I'll pop it into my little spin dryer then get it outdoors on the line to blow for a bit. The sunshine is a welcome surprise as the app on my phone tells me it's going to be cloudy all day. If you are a veg grower and looking to grow some tomatoes then it's almost the time of year to start sowing them. If you don't have a greenhouse then in truth I'd wait another month or you'll end up with tall straggly plants. Later sowings soon catch up.
It's very cloudy down south this morning, I am making room in my greenhouse for seed trays.
ReplyDeleteIsn't the start of the growing season lovely.
DeleteYou've done more in an early morning than I've done in a week!
ReplyDeleteYou sound happy and full of energy, which is amazing. Sending hugs x
I'll spend tomorrow reading with my feet up.
DeleteVery nice day here. Sun in and out and clouds dancing in the sky. Happy seed growing!
ReplyDeleteToday's sunshine took me by surprise. It's been a perfect drying day... said no man ever.

DeleteWow sounds like you've been really busy!
ReplyDeleteI know you've probably said this before, but what kind of things can you grow in your greenstalk? It sounds as though something we might have to consider if we are thinking about growing in a small space. Thanks
You can grow pretty much anything in them. I've grown carrots, lettuce, kale, kohlrabi, tomatoes, cauliflower, bush beans and swiss chard. I'm trying Brussels sprouts and mini cabbages this year.
DeleteI'd wait until the next BOGOF sale as they have them all the time in America. We don't get those offers here.
