Blimmin cold today.

After a couple of really warm and sunny days the rain returned with a vengeance today. It's been really quite cold too which has come as a bit of a shock to my system.  I've got the little heater running in the porch keeping my seedlings warm. Speaking of which the seeds that I picked up from garden club on Sunday are starting to to sprout already.

I really fancied a salad today so we popped to Aldi to pick up a few things. I chose the variety of peppers purely with seed saving in mind this time. I've got some drying on the windowsill for a couple of days and then I'll sow them.

  1. I will send you some of the heat we have in Georgia today. 81 degrees! No leaves on the trees yet, so no shade to get under. LOL!

  2. I tried growing peppers from seed last year, but disappointingly I didn't have any luck. Fingers crossed, yours will be far more successful. Xx

    1. The mini peppers are doing really well and I have three bell pepper seedlings coming along. I lost the first bell pepper seedlings. Tony overwatered the poor things. They were doing back stroke in the pots

    1. It's a fun experiment but could turn out to be very useful if the war affects the supermarket supplies
