I think I've possibly picked the last of the cucumbers this year. I've still got some beautiful peppers growing in the porch and I'm already planning on growing some mini ones next year. I'll sow them in January and they can live in the porch all year.
Did I mention that I've ordered another Greenstalk planter. It'll arrive in December and Tony has paid for it as a Christmas present so I'll be very good and won't open it up till Christmas. The new one will be permanently in the porch and will give me a huge amount of growing space for miniature peppers, aubergines and dwarf varieties of tomatoes. That'll leave the windowsill free for a cucumber plant or two.
