Tony and I had a thoroughly lovely weekend and felt as though we'd been away a lot longer than overnight. It was lovely sleeping in my own bed again and thankfully a lot cooler. In fact my feet were decidedly cool through the night. It might be time to put the duvet back on the bed. We've been sleeping under a cotton sheet and still been too warm.
The Preston Village open gardens was great and everyone that opened their garden an absolute delight.

DeleteIt's amazing what a little change in the weather can do. Sleeping in your own bed after a trip is always the best feeling, and even better when you're finally comfortable and not too hot. It sounds like a new duvet is in order. It's great you had a wonderful weekend and enjoyed the open gardens.
