Well I dragged my poorly body out into the garden and simply soaked up some sunshine today. I wish this darn bug would clear off and let me get my energy back. I just about have the energy to cook which is just as well or we'd starve. Well we wouldn't really but it simply wouldn't even occur to Tony to lift some meat or fish out of the freezer and cook it with some veg. He's the world's worst nurse when I'm ill.
I didn't even have the energy to make anything for the miniature garden today. But here's how it looks
so far

Bless you, I hope you are better soon. I feel guilty since my husband works very hard in the kitchen. Honestly, I think I have peeled potatoes maybe 5 times since we have been married since 1983. I am not kidding! I guess he relies on me to cook the meat but he does the veggies and potatoes!
ReplyDeleteOh how I'd love someone to cook me a lovely meal once in a while. It wouldn't need to be anything fancy. Cherish that man of yours.
DeleteDo you suppose you may have developed a secondary infection on top of the virus, such as pneumonia? Not trying to alarm you, but this seems to be kicking your poor butt, for lack of a more delicate term. Sending caring across the ocean, Cherie. I'm sorry your hubby didn't get the nursing gene - many men did not! I don't know why, but they didn't. What you need is a visit from John Gray :D A proper nurse!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jenny. It's certainly knocking the stuffing out of me. It'll pass eventually. John Gray sounds such a dear kind man doesn't he.
Deleteyes indeed he does
DeleteI hope you start feeling better soon. There's lots of things going around right now.
ReplyDeleteThe miniature looks lovely
I think I've turned the corner now. I certainly feel much better this morning.
DeleteThe miniature garden is looking great! Will you be making a miniature gardener? X
ReplyDeleteNow that's a good suggestion. Not sure if it's something I can make but I'll certainly give it a try.
