Two weeks ago one of our carving club members gave Tony a train set. Unfortunately it isn't an N gauge which is what Tony's layout is. I jokingly said to Tony that I'd create a layout for myself rather than not use the set.. Oh my word it's addictive and I can bring loads of my crafting skills into use creating the scenery. I'm watching all manner of mini modeller videos and getting some great ideas. Watch this space as my railway modellers adventure unfolds
You're definitely multi-talented Cherie, you'll never get bored! xx
ReplyDeleteI needed a proper project to get my teeth into. My brain is whirring with possibilities.
DeleteAh.............my brothers, were interested in trains as is my Uncle and cousin. My Uncle who turned 100 in March hated having to give up his set when they moved into a retirement complex. Enjoy, take care & hugs.
ReplyDeleteFor me it's more about making scenery and creating a miniature landscape than the actual trainset.
DeleteI am so interested in this project Cherie. You have so many skills and should have lots of fun with this.
ReplyDelete(I tried to comment yest so hope this doesn't appear twice!)

Hi Wendy. I'm currently planning a miniature conservatory to use on my train layout. My brain is whirring and it's great to have a project to work on.
DeleteI watch the model rails from a safe distance. They're so addictive. But a great outlet for creativity - have fun!
