Yesterday I went for a really good walk with friends. It was Jayne's first day of being officially retired and we followed up with lunch out. We're thinking of making it a weekly thing as the food is absolutely gorgeous and at £9.95 for two main courses it was less than £5 each. We're all soft drink people and they were only £1.15 each. Most pubs charge ridiculous prices for a blackcurrant and soda. Today I'm supposed to be invigilating an exam but my student hasn't turned up so I'll sit and ready book until Tony finishes
