I'm sitting in the conservatory watching the big scary tree blowing about in the wind. I hadn't realised that the forecast today was for high wind but it's really whipping up a storm out there. Oddly enough it's pleasantly warm though that's set to change midweek. My seedlings are coming on leaps and bounds in the porch but they're going to have to sit on the bedroom windowsill for a few days when the temperature dips. My potatoes are chitting nicely and the days are starting to feel a little bit longer. It was properly light at 5pm last night and we watched the sun playing along the top of our hedge yesterday afternoon. We reckon that it'll be on the patio by this time next week. What are you up to today?
It's lovely to sit in the conservatory and just watch the weather. It's been quite mild here in Minnesota where I still am. Mild means about 8c lol. Still it's better than the minus temps it usually is!
ReplyDeleteit's been very windy here today as well. I managed to get outside and clear a bed that my daughter is going to grow a few veg in. She is a novice gardener so will be trying a couple of favourites that are easy to grow and she will use when she is cooking.
