I've just had my hair trimmed by my friends hairdresser. She came to my house and has done a lovely cut. I was amazed when she only charged £10. An absolute bargain and it'll be nice getting to know her. My usual hairdresser is away on holiday but I've wanted a change for a while now as she hasn't always given me a good cut. It's a little awkward as she's a friend of a friend and is one of the ladies in our group that go out for a meal together every month. I'd hate to hurt her feelings.
Anyway, the sun's out and it's lovely and warm in the porch. Perfect weather for reading all your blogs. I've been out for a walk first thing this morning so can settle down for an hours relaxation. We're off to wood carving club tonight. We missed it last week so it'll be good to catch up with everyone
£10 is a bargain, Cherie - and a nice cut too, you must be well pleased. No sun here, it's grey and dismal.

DeleteWhen I first came here to this town I went to a hairdresser for about 3 years until she married and left when she was pregnant. I then went to another salon and had the same hairdresser there for 37 years until she decided to give it up. I found out from a friend that my original hairdresser was still working so went back to her. The baby she was expecting when she left was now a mother herself! Alas she is retiring in October so the search is on for a replacement! It costs me £33 for a wash, cut and blow dry.

DeleteThat's a really good price for a haircut. I must admit that I pay quite a bit. I won't change it though. I hate getting my hair cut, sounds weird but I get really anxious. I've been going to the same lady for a while and she knows exactly how I like things. I make an appointment in advance and stick to it. Worth it.
