Home grown potatoes

 For the past few weeks I've been harvesting potatoes from a large tub on the drive. I didn't think there'd be many left in there so this morning I've emptied it and harvested nearly a kilo of beautiful 🥔  I'd grown them in a mix of grass cuttings and old compost which I topped off with shredded pine twigs. I was given the pine last year when someone had advertised that they'd had a tree cut down.  We were asked to take as much as we wanted to save her from paying to have it taken away. It makes fantastic paths through my veg plot and I have enough bagged up to last me a few year.
