What a pain. I have answered over on my blog but to repeat - I think I would go for an air fryer that has other functions and is like a mini oven -such as a Ninja Foodi - and also a small uncomplicated microwave as well. Is that an options? xx
To be honest Cherie, I wouldn't make a choice for one or the other, I'd want both. We got rid of our big cooker before we moved, as I hardly used it. I have an air fryer, microwave, Drew & Cole multichef and a single electric hotplate, and use them everyday. Not all at the same time, but usually 2 of the 4 things. But I guess it comes down to personal choice and how we each do our cooking. Very inconvenient time for your combi microwave to die!

ReplyDeleteI was cooking a batch of pigs in blankets at the time I've got friends coming for breakfast buns tomorrow so it couldn't have been more inconvenient.
Deleteif you microwave a fair bit you would miss it if you bought an air fryer type oven. We have both and I wouldn't want to be without either.
