Tony and I are busy decorating the house with Christmas cheer. And you know how we love Christmas. It takes us the best part of a week to get it all looking beautifully decorated and it can be a bit of a chore.. but oh so worth it once all the empty boxes are packed away in the loft and everything looks neat and tidy. We've got plenty of festive meals planned with various friends throughout December so calorie counting is on hold now until mid January. Besides I need my layer of fat to keep me warm ☺.
I've had to put the dehumidifier in the porch as the windows were wringing wet and steamy this morning. It's crazy just how much moisture these machines suck out of the house. We have two dehumidifiers and the one upstairs must draw 2 litres every day. That's all moisture that would be soaking into the furniture and running down the windows. They are well worth the running costs.

Hello Cherie! I'm no fan of Xmas but I do love my dehumidifier! xxx
ReplyDeleteOh wow! It all looks so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWe have a dehumidifier but usually it only runs in the summer time. The humidity here is unbelievable and it sucks a lot of the moisture out of the house. In the winter the air is a lot drier and usually people are running humidifiers lol
So, so lovely. xx
ReplyDeleteYour Christmas porch looks wonderful.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I wouldn't be without my dehumidifier too. It's currently living in the girls' room as I wouldn't want them breathing in moudly spores x
