The garden yesterday

It's turned really wet though it's still warm. I'm amazed that the begonias are still flowering and my new penstemon is looking better now than it has for ages.

Those big green leaves are spinach beet and we love them raw in salads.  My cucumber plants in the porch still have fifteen cucumber 🥒 between the two plants.  I'm going to take them out pretty soon but will pickle them for next year. Already thinking ahead to next years plants.

  6. I hear your words and agree with you Cherie.
Lovely news about your Winter fuel money.
Super cosy socks you are knitting. I still haven't got my head around double ended pins but never say never. Enjoy your little Christmas tree when you put it up.

  7. I love the challenge of double ended knitting needles and have them in a couple of sizes. The shorter ones are perfect for socks
