Today on the spur of the moment we decided to go to the autumn flower show. It's now held in Ripon at Newby Hall and the entrance price included a tour of the downstairs part of Newby Hall. Oh my goodness it's been a beautiful house in it's time. There was none of that dingy dark wood paneling and beautiful floral creations filled each room downstairs
The panel below is repeated a through the house and the ceilings are all incredible works of art.
I was taken on a tour of Newby Hall by my mom, as a kid. Beautiful place, hard for me to believe it was somebody's house!
