Yesterday Tony picked up 9 bags of bark chippings free of charge from a local resident. Tony's out at his gun club and I've just spent the past couple of hours laying down cardboard in front of the hedge and covering it with a thick layer of mulch. It would be easier if the darn leg wasn't so painful but mustn't grumbley eh. It's about to hammer down with rain ro I think I've earned a lovely cuppa and a quiet read now.
put in over 100 leeks this morning by crawling on the ground , its great this getting old isnt it...lol

DeleteWell done & with your gammy knee. Getting old isn't funny & I've a birthday this month.....ugh. Suppose you could say both DH & I are now in mid 70s. Really? Take care & hugs.

Mulch makes an amazing difference in the garden. It's so wonderful to have healthy soil.
