For breakfast this morning Tony and I are having low carb scotch eggs. Instead of rolling them in breadcrumbs I've wrapped them in bacon. There's two spare for tomorrow's lunch and I'll pick a lovely salad from the garden. The courgettes and tomatoes are ripening faster than we can eat them so my plan is to make a big batch of vegetable chilli. I'll freeze it in portions and it'll make a tasty lasagne or bolognese sauce during the cold dark winter months.

What a brilliant idea, and baking them too instead of frying.
