Yesterday was my friend and walking buddy Marian's birthday. She turned 78 and she really is a great example of the saying 'age is just a number'. There's more life and fun in Marian than many people twenty years younger. We had a lovely carvery lunch with our whist club and Marian was delighted that her dessert was served with a candle. It was lovely celebrating her birthday with all our group.
Zippy is going home tomorrow and Tony and I are going up to have a look around Seaton Delaval Hall. Tomorrow we celebrate 19 years anniversary. Where on earth did all those years disappear to.
Marian and I.

Age is very definitely just a number. Marian looks lovely!

ReplyDeleteThanks Susan. The appalling weather put paid to our planned day out but we had a lovely night away from home.
DeleteTime really does go faster as you get older. My dad used to say that it was like a cassette tape. Sounds like an inspiring lunch with your friend.
