Start of another carving

 I've had a lovely relaxing day today. An hour pottering in the garden followed by my usual 7am walk and five games of rummikub. I finished the book that I started yesterday and can highly recommend it if you fancy a thriller that isn't graphic and nasty.


After tea I browsed a couple of woodcarving books to give me some inspiration. The following project is an adaptation of one that I saw in a book. It was a blimmin nightmare trying to draw it on the wood and I had to rub it out several times. I've made a good start on roughing it out and I will be able to continue working on it tommorow night at my carving club
