This morning I bought a little plywood house from The Works for the grand sum of £2. I cut and shaped a twig to make a chimney and added a little square of glass for the window. The incense cone sits on a bottle cap which got very hot so I cut a second piece of glass and put it underneath the bottle cap to spread the heat a bit. I've drilled a small hole in the back of the house to allow for airflow as covering the window with the glass stopped the cone from smoking.
Lovely Cherie! Looks like some little fairy folk is at home making tea :) x
ReplyDeleteHerbal tea of course. ☺
DeleteHow cute! And how clever!
ReplyDeleteThanks Sooze.
DeleteHow sweet. My hubby dislikes the smell of incenses, so wouldn't go down well here.
ReplyDeleteMust be honest and say these cones are a bit stale and pongy.
DeleteVery clever and so cute. xx
ReplyDeleteThanks Joy. It was a nice little project
DeleteDefinitely clever and very cute :)
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
A fun but cheap little project
DeleteWhat a great project! I love how you made the chimney. I love shopping at The Works for crafty projects. The prices are really reasonable.
ReplyDeletePrices at The Works are great aren't they.
