On the way in to work today I noticed that the grass verges are looking very parched and straw like. We could really do with some steady rain. Not torrential downpours but nice soft steady rain. It would save me from having to water all my veg and the flower border.
My poppies are looking stunning though, Tony's hand looks tiny against them.
Oh dear! I could perhaps send a little your way, though predictions for us is that we will be going into an El Nino weather pattern soon, which means drought & heat.............not so good. The poppies look great. Take care & hugs.

ReplyDeleteRain would be nice, wouldn't it? As you say, soft, gentle, long lasting rain to absolutely soak - and how long before we would be moaning about it too!! :-)
