This morning we popped out to buy some bunting to celebrate the coronation of King Charles. We didn't get bunting but came home with a blueberry called Patriot. It's currently soaking in a jar of water before I plant it out in the mini orchard. I'm going out for a meal with our whist group on Friday and I'll be donning the old Red white and blue theme. Well you have to make the effort for special occasions and we are staunch royalists.
I'm struggling again to leave comments on all your blogs but rest assured that I'm enjoying reading them. We even called into the library last week to see if I could leave comments. Unfortunately I wasn't able to. Hopefully I'll be able to leave them every day next week as I'll be working and able to log onto the WiFi there.
It seems that blogger is causing many of us problems with commenting.
ReplyDeleteI find many of mine go incorrectly into spam folder!!!
Happy 1st of May ... the year is flying by.
All the best Jan
My issue is the signal. We are in a bit of a dead zone here
DeleteI'm feeling unexpectedly patriotric at the moment. I'm glad that you got the cutlery, I may have a look
ReplyDeleteI like any occasion for a flag and bit of bunting.
DeleteI'm not particularly doing red white and blue but I have planned a special 'tea' on Saturday and I intend drinking a toast to the King and Queen and wishing them well. xx
ReplyDeleteThat sounds fun. I do love a special tea.
DeleteThat's weird about the comments. I wonder why you are having trouble...
ReplyDeleteI'm sure the blueberry will last longer than the bunting!
