It's absolutely gorgeous today. Beds are stripped and the washing line is full of clothes drying in the breeze. I've cleared the celeriac from one of my raised beds and as soon as the night time temperature is a little better I'll direct sow some veg. The porch is now starting to fill up with seedlings 🌱 and it'll soon be time to pot them all on. I really should nip the flowers off this courgette plant to give it chance to grow bigger and stronger but I can't bring myself to do it. It'll have to take its chance and survive. There's both male and female flowers developing so even if it is too young to hold onto its fruit at least it will look pretty in the porch. Courgettes have huge yellow flowers and apparently they are nice stuffed and fried.

Wow! Your courgette plants are huge, mine are feeble seedling! I love co=rgette flowers,m I often eat them in Greece (but never here!) xxx
ReplyDeleteIt's actually felt like there's been a bit of warmth in the air. It's been lovely hasn't it. Arilx
ReplyDeleteSo glad you had sunshine! The plant is really growing well. We had sunshine this morning, but it's clouded over and is now raining.
ReplyDeleteGood to hear you have some sun & hope your growing season is better than what we had here this year. Take care & hugs.
ReplyDeleteIt was a beautiful day here too and, despite a frost this morning, today is expected to be just as lovely. Enjoy! xx
ReplyDeleteWe too have had some lovely sunshine and enjoyed some local walks.
ReplyDeleteIt has been a good start to the Easter holidays, a lot of school aged children about enjoying the sunshine too.
Taking the opportunity to wish you a Happy Easter.
All the best Jan
That's amazing. It's still pretty cold here. We have to wait until after Easter to plant.
