This morning I got up to a text telling me that my friend Jeff passed away yesterday. Poor love has been ill for quite some time and it's a blessing that he's at peace now. We've been expecting that text for the past two or three years so it didn't come as a shock. His widow Ann has taken care of him to the best of her ability and he wouldn't have lasted this long without her care and love. She won't know what to do with herself now as her whole life has revolved around Jeff's illness for many years.
R.I.P Jeff. You will be missed.
As you say, it' a blessing for him and I hope that knowing this proves a a bit of comfort of all those grieving for him and missing him. Much love to you. xx

DeleteHow sad. I'm glad you were able to spend time with him. His widow may find all kinds of wonderful things to do with her free time now. My dad said being a widower was like being on vacation!
