This morning I'm invigilating and was expecting cold rain with flurries of snow. Imagine my surprise to see blue sky and sunshine. I may well eat my words though as knowing my luck it will hammer down when I set foot outside the building to come home. It's lovely having Tony to drop me off and pick me up. Saves a whole load of waiting around for trains or buses. Tonight I am going out for tea with the girls. I do use the term loosely. We're all ladies in our sixties. I smile when I say sixty. I thought that was ancient when I was a young thing. Pah!!! Age is just a number.
Hope the day stayed nice & now you have a chauffeur. I miss my independence of not having my own car, but we need to pull a caravan & need the big one for that. I'm "quite" short(ugh), & find it difficult to drive, but after having my own car since I was 17 or the family car, I'm still getting used to being driven about. In your sixties.......just a toddler!!!! Take care & hugs.
ReplyDeleteDo you pull the caravan. The thought terrifies me.
