Yesterday's post ended up on my gardening blog and I can't seem to move it. Oh well I will be more careful with this one..
I've been making carrot 🥕 and coriander soup this morning using celeriac, coriander, onions and leeks fresh from the garden. It was very warming and welcome at lunch time.
When I went out for my walk first thing this morning it didn't feel particularly cold but oh my word it was cold by 9am. We've had flurries of snow on and off all day and even though sometimes it's been a bit heavy it hasn't settled. It is forecast to snow all night so it might be treacherous underfoot when I go to work tomorrow
Oh dear! Soup sounds good & my eldest granddaughter who is living in UK for a couple of years, saw snow for the first time this week & posted a clip on FB for us to see. We've lived in the mountains & Tasmania so have seen snow some winters, but never realised she'd not seen any. Stay warm, take care & hugs.
