This morning Tony and I had a drive over to Nunnington Hall near Helmsley. The snowdrops and crocus along the river bank were stunning. We had a quick look at the room filled with miniatures. They are incredible and the detail is fabulous. I can't upload photos as I'm struggling with signal on my phone but it's definitely worth googling Nunnington Hall miniatures if doll houses interest you
Then we called into Helmsley for lunch and a wander around the shops there. Tony treated me to two new books so guess what I'll be doing in my spare time

I can't wait to see your new projects. Sounds like a lovely day out. I'm hoping this ice storm doesn't damage what little is growing.
ReplyDeleteIt's turned chilly here brrrr
DeleteHow lovely. I look forward to seeing what you make, clever lady! xx
ReplyDeleteDon't hold your breath :-)
DeleteOh, how sweet. I have been reading in this weather, too. My mom used to love doll houses and miniatures. I am amazed that you do your blog on your phone. I wouldn't be able to see a thing.
ReplyDeleteIt's not too bad but the intermittent signal is a flipping nuisance.
DeleteThey look like quilt books.
ReplyDeleteThey are. Aren't they lovely
DeleteThose are the sort of books that start me on a thousand projects (that are not necessarily finished). They look like great fun
ReplyDeleteThey are so pretty. I'll be making quite a few of the projects
