While out walking this morning I spotted my first daffodil. I've seen loads in bud but this was my first fully opened flower. There are crocus and snowdrops everywhere and it certainly looks as though spring is starting to wake up. It's blimmin freezing though even though it's lovely and sunny today.

Not far off now by the looks of it, though our weather is still being very fickle. Love the cheeriness of bright daffs. Take care & hugs.
ReplyDeleteHi Susan. Have you ever made a floral inspired quilt.
DeleteIt's so nice to see early flowering daffodils, they are a lovely cheerful flower.
ReplyDeleteSpring is (perhaps) getting a little nearer!
All the best Jan
I'm seeing spring bulbs popping up all over the place. It's so pretty.
DeleteHow beautiful! I planted tulips and daffodils but they haven't pushed through the soil yet. It was sunny and warm here today; I went kayaking. The cold weather can be difficult. Everything is so much more work.
ReplyDeleteI hate being too cold and will be glad to see the spring months unfolding.
DeleteOh wow! I am so jealous! Lovely to see things growing.
ReplyDeleteIt's a sure sign winter is starting to leave.
