We had a few flurries of snow yesterday but it didn't amount to anything. This morning I went out a bit too early for the bus and stood freezing for 25 minutes. Blimmin thing didn't turn up so I walked up to the station and caught the train instead. If I'd thought about it sooner I could have stayed home in the warm for another 45 minutes and just caught the train. I've a 3 hour exam this afternoon to invigilate and then we are off to carving club. We're going to pick up fish and chips on the way as there's no point going home first. I'll have a good catchup on all your blogs tomorrow afternoon. Wrap up warm if you are going out. X
Brrr, waiting in the cold makes it a hard start to the day. It's a very damp cold here- gets right vti my bones.
ReplyDeleteOh no! It's horrible when you have to stand still waiting for the bus. It makes things colder. Hopefully it will warm up soon. Fish and Chips. Yum. Sorry to offend any Americans, but they don't have a clue about good fish and chips.

ReplyDeleteWe are cooler here too at the moment, but not that cold. Picked more blueberries again today (1.3kgs) and had naughty blackbird in the netting with me. Luckily, DH coaxed her out. Stay warm, take care & hugs.
