This morning we toddled off to Tesco and ditched Virgin for a smashing 60gb data sim only package with unlimited free calls and texts. The grand sum total was £23 a month for both phones as we got a £1 a month discount each for the family package. Tony has been paying £62 each month with Virgin so it's a huge saving over the year. That does include the wifi broadband which we'll no longer have but 60GB of data each should be more than ample for our needs. The young lady was so helpful and we are now up and running with our mobiles but waiting for our old numbers to switch over. I'm absolutely baffled as to how I can still phone Tony using wattsapp but can't phone via the ordinary mobile until the numbers switch... Well I could if I put the temporary number in my phone but it hardly seems worth it for a couple of days.
That's great! All of those savings add up each month.

ReplyDeleteSounds like you got a good deal. And there are a few places with free wifi as well. The big Tesco I shop at has free wifi in the cafe and there is always the library.
