No, I don't mean me :-) For tea tonight I've placed a slice of bacon onto a fish fillet. Topped that with cheese and then covered it all with slices of tomato. It's low carb and utterly delicious. I cooked this the other day and Tony requested it again tonight. I dragged my poorly self out into the garden and picked a gorgeous mixed salad to go with it. The fish is cooking as I type ( 6+o++++++++p). Haven't a clue what it says in the bracket but Zippy has decided to help me type this post bless her and I'm leaving her typed bit cos it made me smile.
I'm going to roast a bunch of veg to have with rice. I have some great local cheddar to melt over if wanted.
ReplyDeleteCheddar goes with everything doesn't it.
DeleteThat sounds very yummy with no spicy stuff or garlic to hurt my tummy. Will write it down and try next week. Do hope you feel better soon as I've just seen your last post too. Only pop on the PC in the morning while I'm not posting myself, as the fall has really knocked me for 6. Take care & don't over do it. Hugs.
ReplyDeleteA fall is a nasty thing and really shakes our confidence doesn't it. Hope you get over the shock and are up to speed again soon. x
DeleteSounds nice. I haven't been eating properly lately and do need to do a lot better! Just can't seem to be bothered.
ReplyDeleteTo be honest I tend to cook for Tony coming home. I'd cook a lot less if it was just me as I'd pick salads and greens from the garden and add a little cheese or meat.
DeleteOooh, that sounds lovely and I'm going to make it too. Thanks. xx
ReplyDeleteIt was gorgeous Joy. I used breadcrumbed fillets because that's what I had in the freezer but I'll be buying proper fish fillets from now on.
DeleteSounds great!
