Night nurse

Yesterday my friend picked up a bottle of Night Nurse for me after telling me how good it is.  It needs to be for £8.50 said I.  Well all I can say is it's worth every penny and I had a better sleep than I have had in a long time.  If it hadn't been for Zippy fidgeting and fussing through the night I may well have slept right through. It's a good job I read the instructions though as Tony mustn't take it. He would have helped himself to a dose without even glancing at the instructions if he comes down with my cold bug.  In truth I don't feel a lot better this morning as this darn bug has got a really good grip of me but at least the sleep has allowed me to get on without feeling exhausted to the bone.  I took Zippy out over the field first thing then when I returned home I made a big ban of a bolognese sauce using loads of veg from the garden and a packet of minced beef that I'd defrosted. I'll use half as a pasta sauce tonight and then I'll chuck a load of beans and some chili into the pan and we can have chili con carne tomorrow night. I'm not going to carving club as it wouldn't be fair to pass this on though I have heard that another club member has the same thing.

  1. We don't have that product here, but I'll seek out an equivalent
Cold season is well upon us too.

    1. I always look forward to the cold frosty weather as I think it kills off a lot of bugs. It's unseasonably warm here at the moment

  2. Sorry you're still feeling so rough, Cherie. For future reference, Boots and Lloyds both make their own versions of Night Nurse, significantly cheaper than the brand name. At least it should help you sleep better for the next few nights - sleep always helps, doesn't it.
