Losing one stone for Christmas

I want to say a big thank you to Joy... https://my30-30challenge.blogspot.com/     for her lovely inspiring meal ideas which I plan on using to help motivate me to lose a stone for Christmas.  This morning I weighed in at 10st 5lbs and I'd love to lose that extra stone so that I can fit into all my clothes again.  I am absolutely determined not to buy any more clothes as I already have far more than I need.  If I can lose that stone then I shall donate all my bigger clothes to the charity shop and won't be replacing them. I've lost the first 1lb and it's motivating me to really stick to my guns this time.   Thanks Joy... and welcome back from your holidays

Oh! and the train and book cases have gone so I now have a  lovely clear entrance hall ready to decorate for Christmas. I can't wait.

  2. I think a stone is 14 pounds, right? I need to lose more than 1 so I'll follow for motivation.

  4. Good luck on the weight loss goal. I really could stand to lose weight, but I've been at a steady weight for a while now (the longest time at one weight I think) and I hate the bouncing up and down that I inevitably end up doing. Sigh. However, I am thinking more of cutting back on certain snacks and trying to eat a more balanced diet as I tend not to eat as I should.

    1. It's only the past few years since my hip op that I have put on weight. Crikey it's hard to lose though.
