I'll be glad when this bug clears off. I didn't get up till close on 8am and had to drag myself over the field with Zippy this morning. I just haven't got any energy today and can't be bothered to do anything. I hate feeling like this and will be glad when I start to perk up a bit. The sun is shining now but the sky has some nasty looking bruise coloured clouds so I reckon we are in for a downpour. Can't complain about temperatures though as it's really quite warm. I'll be standing the clothes horse in the porch to dry everything as it gets very hot in there. It won't be long though before the sun disappears behind the houses opposite and won't reappear till next year. That's when my house feels really dark and miserable. Oh to live somewhere that got the sun all day.
And yesterday I discovered that some manky cat is using my raised trough lettuce bed as a toilet. I had covered it with a plastic top but the cat got underneath it. I've made a small fence with canes to block off the entrance and it seems to have worked. Sorry folks but I am not a cat lover at all.

ReplyDeleteMy soft as butter father used to threaten the local cats with medieval torture (while he was giving them a cuddle, soft as butter). There's a plant that deters cats, and when father planted them it was quite successful, but I can't remember what it was. They also don't like mirrors. Good luck.
