Finished at long last

I finally got around to finishing my wood carving and am now looking for another project.

I want to make a walking stick using part of a broom shank for the stick part and recently bought a lovely book. Unfortunately the patterns are all for a big man sized hand so I need to take the book to the library and have them reduce the size on their photo copier. There's a beautiful Spaniel head that would make a perfect cane head so that might be the one that I go for. The grain in the wooden shank is gorgeous too and will polish up beautifully

    1. Thanks Sharon. Somewhere in my craft stash I have a pantograph and I need to dig it out and start using it. Tony requested it for Christmas one year and has never looked at it since. It will come in really useful for enlarging or shrinking patterns.
