Tony is having today and tomorrow off work so we are going to visit Northallerton for a wander around the shops and a spot of lunch when he gets up. Tomorrow he is having some nasty tests and procedures in hospital and hopefully we will find out what's been going on. Poor bloke, I can't remember the last time he went out for a pint and a catchup in the pub. He has avoided alcohol like the plague since his last unpleasant episode left him on strong antibiotics. He decided to give it a miss until after all the tests are done. His follow up consultant appointment isn't until December though so we probably won't be any the wiser for some time. This growing old lark is a blimmin nuisance.
