I lead such an exciting life... yawn...

I slept reasonably well for a change and got up just after 8am with the intention of getting out in the garden. Annoyingly it was tipping down and for most of today the rain  hammered down on and off.  The garden is wringing wet but I still managed an hour gardening outdoors between showers. It's lovely and sunny now as it typical of this country.

Tony has spent a good while snoozing on the sofa and we've made a start on a new jigsaw. I'm trying to reduce the amount of time I spend on Tinterweb as I think I'm getting rectangular shaped eyes... It's an improvement on the good old square ones though.  :-)

We had tea early and enjoyed a steak pie with some beautiful carrots and beans fresh picked from the garden. I'm trying to make apple powder in my dehydrator but it definitely isn't worth the cost of the fuel or the time and effort so I doubt that I'll do it again. Has your day been any more exciting than mine  :-)

Oh, and Tesco mobile looks like being the one we go for as soon as our notice period is up with Virgin.

  1. We have had Tesco Mobile phones for quite a while now and are very pleased with both the price and after care. My husband bought a two phone deal and it comes in cheaper than us taking separate contracts. The few times we have had to contact them we were dealt with efficiently and in a friendly way as a bonus you get Tesco points on your monthly bill.

  2. Good to be able to get outside for an hour at least & your life certainly isn't boring with all that you fit in. Have you tried a Wasgij? That will keep you on your toes. Our Saturday was one of the strangest we've had in a long time, so may post about it with absolutely no photos. Enjoy the rest of the weekend and take care.

    1. A few people have mentioned the Wasgij but we like a pretty chocolate box picture to work on. I'd give up on a wasgij.

  3. Glad you were able to at least get out in the garden for a little while. All that hard work seems to be paying off with the lovely harvest.

    1. It's funny how working in the garden never feels like hard work to me. I feel as though I am being naughty and escaping the housework which I loathe.

    Your dinner sounds delicious!
