I've been watching the news with a lump in my throat. It must be very serious for the palace to issue a statement regarding the health of our wonderful Queen. Tony and I are staunch royalists and will be deeply saddened if this is the worst kind of news. We were planning on going out for tea this evening but I have no desire to now. In fairness though Queen Elizabeth is a very old lady and does look very frail. We can't all go on forever but this does look like it could be very serious. I'm not usually one for having the TV on through the day but it's going to be on for the rest of the day today.
Oh - I haven't seen this. I will go and look. Feeling very saddened already.
